Pakistan is going to charge US $20 from every pilgrim on November 9, the sources revealed on Friday. Earlier, Pakistan had announced that no fee will be charged on the opening day of Kartarpur corridor.

On November 1, Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan announced on twitter waiving off two key requirements to visit Gurdwara Darbar Sahib Kartarpur ahead of 550th Birth Anniversary of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji.

He said in a tweet: "For Sikhs coming for pilgrimage to Kartarpur from India, I have waived off 2 requirements: i) they won't need a passport - just a valid ID; ii) they no longer have to register 10 days in advance. Also, no fee will be charged on day of inauguration & on Guruji's 550th birthday."

Meanwhile, Pakistan's doublespeak was exposed on Thursday, where the top Army official stated that the passports will be compulsory to visit Kartarpur Sahib. However, the Ministry of External Affairs of India, on Thursday made it clear that the passports will be necessary for the Indian pilgrims visiting Kartarpur.
