Palki Sahib decorated with flowers on eve of 352nd Prakash Parv of Guru Gobind Singh ji

Celebrations for the 352nd Prakash Parv (birth anniversary) of Guru Gobind Singh Ji commenced on Friday at the Takht Harmandir Patna Sahib. It is the place of birth of the tenth Sikh Guru.

Palanquin to carry the ‘Guru Granth Sahib Ji’ on the eve of Prakash Parv of Guru Gobind Singh Ji is being decorated with flowers. It is all decked up with roses, lilies, orchids, yellow, orange coloured flowers and lights. And slogans like ‘Jo Bholey So Nihal Sat Sri Akal’ will rent the air today during the Nagar Kirtan. Lakhs of devotes will follow the Palki Sahib with hymns of Guru Granth Sahib Ji on their lips.
