PB State Govt Hospitals To Have Biometric Attendance System: Brahm Mohindra
Punjab Health, Family Welfare and Medical Education Minister Brahm Mohindra announced that state government hospitals would soon have biometric attendance system. He addressed at the district-level Independence Day function at Government College in Phase 6 here on Wednesday to ensure the punctuality of medical staff.
Brahm Mohindra said, “Besides, a total of 306 doctors will be recruited soon for government hospitals.” He also said the project of setting up a medical college and hospital in Mohali would also take shape soon.
While addressing the gathering, the minister emphasizes that Punjab would soon become a drug-free state as the anti-drug campaign was being run in the state with full vigour.
The minister also launched the state government’s anti-drug programme, ‘Buddy’, in the district by presenting badges to students of schools and colleges.
