BSF shoots down Pakistani drone along border in Punjab's Amritsar

In 2023, this is the third drone to be shot down by BSF along border

New Delhi, February 8:  The Border Security Force (BSF) on Wednesday shot down a drone entering India from Pakistan along International Border in Punjab. The incident took place on intervening night of February 7 and 8 near border post Babapir in Amritsar sector of Punjab.

In 2023, this is the third drone to be shot down by the BSF along the border.

A BSF spokesperson said the drone fell down in Pakistani territory across International Border. The incident took place during the intervening night of February 7-8 near border post 'Babapir' in Amritsar sector of Punjab.

The spokesperson added that BSF troops fired upon the drone, following which the drone that was returning to Pakistan fell down in Pakistani territory across International Border.
