PTC Web Desk: Amid the escalating conflict between Iran and Israel, the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) has appealed to the Government of India to ensure the safe and respectful relocation of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji saroops (sacred scriptures) from gurdwaras located in conflict zones.

SGPC president Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami stated that war spares no one, and as tensions between the two nations intensify, immediate steps must be taken to safeguard the holy scriptures housed in gurdwaras in Tehran and other affected regions.

He urged the Indian government to fulfill its moral and diplomatic responsibility in this regard. Advocate Dhami also appealed to Sikhs residing in Iran and Israel to contact Indian embassies for the protection and safety of the revered Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji saroops.
