Punjab Panchayat Elections: 37 per cent voting in Fatehgarh Sahib district till 12 noon

36.60 per cent voter turnout so far in Fatehgarh Sahib during the Punjab Panchayat Elections on Sunday. According to the data, 35 per cent has been done in Amloh block, 38 per cent in Bassi Pathana block.

The voting began at 8 am and will continue till 4 pm. The counting of the votes will start after the polling.

Fatehgarh Sahib Punjab Panchayat Elections: 37 per cent voting in Fatehgarh Sahib district till 12 PM

According to PTC News, all necessary arrangements have been done for smooth and transparent elections. More than 8,000 candidates are contesting for Sarpanches and panches posts today. Nearly 1.27 crore voters are taking part in the polling today.

At least 17,268 polling booths have been set up and also, 86,340 personnel are deployed on duty today.
