A day before Punjab Panchayat elections , SDM , BDPO transferred in Tanda
A day before Punjab Panchayat elections, the State Election Commission (SEC) transferred SDM , BDPO and a naib tehsildar in Tanda Urmar in Hoshiarpur district on Saturday. The inquiry against the officials was initiated by Additional Deputy Commissoner .

SDM Harcharan Singh, BDPO Paramjit Singh and naib tehsildar Manjit Singh were taken off from the poll duty in a matter regarding making bogus votes.

The complaint was filed against the officials by MLA Tanda Urmar , Sangat Singh Gilzian.

Meanwhile, the SEC gave the additional charge of SDM Dasuya to Balbir Raj Singh, Municipal Corporation Commissioner Hoshiarpur.
