After a partly cloudy morning here on Saturday, the minimum temperature was recorded at 26.4 degrees Celsius.
"It was partly cloudy sky in the morning and rains or thundershowers are likely to occur towards the afternoon or evening," an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official said.
The maximum temperature was likely to hover around 41 degrees Celsius and the humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 51 per cent.
Friday's maximum temperature settled at 40.6 and the minimum temperature was recorded at 26.7 degrees Celsius, the season's average.
