Noida tragedy: 25-year-old man dies after taking slide at a water park
Noida tragedy: In a horrific and dreadful incident, a 25-year-old man from Delhi passed away shortly after taking a slide at a water park located within a mall premises in Noida triggering panic and chaos among people at water park.
The tragic incident unfolded when a 25-year-old resident of Delhi Dhanjay Maheshwari visited water park at The Great India Place (GIP) mall with four friends.
A police spokesperson said, “After collecting costumes and keeping their belongings in lockers, all the friends went straight to the slide. They arrived one by one and started sliding, when Maheshwari suddenly started having trouble breathing."

Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (Noida), Manish Mishra, mentioned that Maheshwari's family arrived in Noida soon after the incident, and the body was scheduled for postmortem examination. Maheshwari resided in Adarsh Nagar, Shivaji Road Extension, Delhi.
Regarding the cause of death, ADCP Mishra stated, "Legal procedures have been initiated, and the body has been sent for autopsy to determine the exact cause." Responding to allegations of negligence on the part of the mall management made by the family, the police officer confirmed that the claims were under investigation.
