Scrutiny of nominations put on hold in four places for MC polls

State Election Commission (SEC) on Thursday ordered to put on hold the process of scrutiny of nominations at Baghapuran in Moga district, Ghanaur in Patiala district , Mallanwala and Makhu in Ferozeopur district.

The action comes in the wake of complaints of violence lodged by Akali Dal.

On Wednesday, firing incident was reported in Mallanwala in which an Akali leader was also injured.
