After Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday announced that the government has decided to repeal all three farm laws, the Shiromani Akali Dal President Sukhbir Singh Badal denied the possibility of allying with BJP ahead of Punjab Assembly elections 2022.
"Wholeheartedly welcome the decision on the repeal of 3 farming Black Laws. Shiromani Akali Dal is particularly grateful that Guru Nanak Dev Ji's Parkash Purab was chosen to announce it. I hope this decision unites the nation, which has seen much temper due to the protests," Sukhbir Singh Badal tweeted.
