Tamil Nadu Coronavirus Lockdown News: In an order to contain the spread of coronavirus cases, the Tamil Nadu government on Wednesday extended the coronavirus-related restrictions till April 30 including the state-wide lockdown under the Disaster Management Act, 2005.
- Only essential activities would be allowed
- Strict perimeter control
- Intensive house-to-house surveillance
- Surveillance for influenza-like illness (ILI) and severe acute respiratory infections (SARI)
- Local authorities should be responsible to ensure that the prescribed containment measures are strictly followed
