Diljit Dosanjh India concert: Diljit to perform at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium on November 21, scripts history in UK

PTC News Desk: Punjabi singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh has announced his return to India with a massive concert at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium on November 21, hours after making history as the first Punjabi artiste to headline London’s iconic Wembley Stadium.
The announcement came during his sold-out AURA World Tour performance at Wembley on September 12.
Diljit Dosanjh’s performance at Wembley Stadium marked another major milestone in his international career. According to his team, the Punjabi singer performed his popular songs in front of around 90,000 people.
The packed show featured Diljit’s signature bhangra performances in traditional Punjabi attire, combined with hip-hop elements. Wembley Stadium’s official Instagram account also shared clips from the concert and described him as the first Punjabi artiste to headline Wembley Stadium.
Several fan videos shared on social media showed Diljit announcing the next India leg of his AURA World Tour. He said he will perform at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on November 21.
Speaking to the audience in Punjabi, Diljit said that India is home to the world’s biggest stadium and that he could not miss performing there.
He also told the crowd, “Kem Cho, majaa maa?” before announcing his Ahmedabad concert for November 21.
The Ahmedabad show will be a major addition to his India tour plans. During his Dil-Luminati India Tour in late 2024, Diljit performed at packed venues across the country, including Ahmedabad.
