Two dengue cases reported in Fazilka

Two cases of Dengue have been reported in Fazilka district.

According to the sources, Mandeep Kaur , age 45 is a resident of Tiwana Kalan village in Jandwala Bhimeshah block. She caught a fever in Rajkot (Gujarat) on August 25.

She had gone there for getting her husband’s bypass surgery. On her return, she tested positive for dengue here on August 30.

Another case of a minor, Manjeet Singh age 13. He is a resident of Jhuge Gulab Singh village. He was admitted to a private hospital with fever. He was then shifted to Guru Gobind Singh Medical College, Faridkot, where he tested positive for dengue on September 3.

The doctors have confirmed that they both are in stable condition.
