Arrogance of power has gone to your head: RSS leader slams Agriculture Minister
Amid farmers' protest against farm laws, the Senior Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) leader Raghunandan Sharma on Saturday slammed Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar saying that the "arrogance of power" has gone to his head. He pointed at the controversial farm laws and advised him not to endorse all "rotten" policies of the Congress party. Also Read | Internet services suspended at these borders, details inside Taking to his Facebook account, the former BJP Rajya Sabha member from Madhya Pradesh said that, "Narendraji, you are a part of the government and your intention might be of helping the farmers, but if some people don't want to be helped, what is the use of doing such good?" "If someone wants to remain naked, what is the use of forcibly clothing him," the 73- year-old said in a post. We are endorsing all rotten policies of Congress which were not in our interest," said RSS leader Raghunandan Sharma while slamming Narendra Singh Tomar. He concluded his post by saying that "Employ all might to strengthen nationalism or else the government will have to regret." These laws are the Farmers (Empowerment and Protection) Agreement on Price Assurance and Farm Services Act, 2020, Farmers’ Produce Trade and Commerce (Promotion and Facilitation) Act, 2020, and Essential Commodities (Amendment) Act, 2020.
