British Sikh boy murdered in London over Gucci bag

A 16-year-old British Sikh boy, identified as Ashmeet Singh, was murdered on a street of West London on the evening of November 24.

As per official data, he is the 28th teenager to be murdered on the streets of London in 2021. He was stabbed by robbers who wanted his Gucci bag, which turned out to be fake.

Scotland Yard officials have launched a murder investigation on Thursday following the fatal stabbing of the 16-year-old British Sikh teenager.

“Despite the efforts of emergency services, he died at the scene a short time later. His next of kin have been informed; formal identification awaits,” said the Metropolitan police.

As per reports, Ashmeet Singh did part-time jobs to care for his disabled mother, who lives above a shop close to where her son was killed over Gucci bag.
