Gold and silver prices plunge sharply; 24K gold sown by Rs 2,375, silver drops Rs 2,297
PTC Web Desk: On Thursday, gold and silver prices witnessed a significant decline in the domestic bullion market. According to the India Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA), the price of 10 gram of 24-carat gold dropped by Rs 2,375, settling at Rs 91,484. Just a day earlier, gold was priced at Rs 93,859 per 10 gram.
Silver also saw a sharp decrease, with the price falling by Rs 2,297 to Rs 94,103 per kg. On Wednesday, silver was priced at Rs 96,400 per kg.
This decline follows the all-time high of Rs 99,100 for gold recorded on April 21, and silver’s historic peak of Rs 1,00,934 on March 28.
