Chandigarh: Punjab CM Capt Amarinder Singh has condoled the death of Sardarni Pritam Kaur (102). She was the elder sister of former Union Home Minister Sardar Buta Singh and mother of former Punjab Minister Mr. Joginder Singh Mann.
Sardarni Pritam Kaur, who passed away at her residence in Jalowal village near Jalandhar, is survived by four sons and a daughter.
In his condolence message, the Chief Minister said that Sardarni Pritam Kaur was a hard working, noble and pious soul with rare qualities of the head and the heart.
Captain Amarinder Singh said that the values inculcated by Sardarni Pritam Kaur were instrumental in motivating both Sardar Buta Singh and Joginder Singh Mann to dedicate their lives for the welfare of people, especially from the weaker and underprivileged sections of society.
Sharing his heartfelt sympathies with the bereaved family, the Chief Minister prayed to the Almighty to grant eternal peace to the departed soul and courage to the family to bear this irreparable loss.
