Surguja (Chattisgarh), March 26: A man in Chhattisgarh's Surguja was forced to carry the body of his 7-year-old daughter on his shoulders to reach home after he was allegedly denied an ambulance by a government hospital. According to reports, the girl was hospitalised after she complained of severe stomach ache and a high fever. The hospital officials, on the other hand, stated that the family was in a state of shock after the sudden demise of their daughter and therefore couldn't understand that the ambulance was to reach them at the earliest. Ishwar Das, a native of Amdala village, had brought his ailing daughter Surekha to Lakhanpur CHC as "she was suffering from high fever for the last few days."
