Doctors conduct postmortem of 2 women in full public view In an unprecedented, the medical staff of a primary health centre - doctors and nurses - conducting the postmorterm examination of two women on a road in public view. The incident took place in Barmer district of Rajasthan on Thursday. It happened in Gandra road primary health centre that comes under Jodhpur railway division. The two women had died due to electrocution in Tamlore village on Wednesday. The police officials bought the bodies to the local primary health centre for further investigation so as to confirm the cause of death. The medical staff first kept the dead bodies in the same room where few patients were also admitted. They later conducted the postmortem of these women on the road outside. The state health minister Kalicharan Saraf has now sought a report in the matter. The case came after few days of another incident of medical apathy that was reported from Uttar Pradesh. There four people lost their lives due to non-functional air conditioners in the ICU. -PTC News
