Chandigarh reports 2 new cases of coronavirus but not from Bapu Dham colony
The total number of coronavirus cases in Chandigarh has increased to 315 after the Union Territory reported two new positive cases on Sunday. According to the information, a Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) constable, who was posted at the Punjab Civil Secretariat, has tested positive for the novel virus. He is a resident of Dariya.
Likewise, a new case was reported from Modern Housing Complex (MHC) in Manimajra where a 45-year-old man was tested positive for coronavirus.Currently, Chandigarh is having 37 active cases while a total of 275 patients have been cured and discharged. Meanwhile, the death toll in the Union Territory remains to stand at 5.
