India has been witnessing a spike in the coronavirus cases even after the country has been placed under the lockdown since March 25. The rise in cases has come at a time when the central government has relaxed the lockdown norms, permitting staggered movement of individuals and functioning of businesses to restart the stagnant economy.
Recently, All India Institute of Medical Sciences Director, Dr. Randeep Guleria, has categorically stated that coronavirus cases in India would peak around June-July. Meanwhile, this has increased the concern among people as theories of the novel virus dying in hot conditions continue to get debunked.
