Coronavirus: India’s daily caseload falls below 50K from last 10 days
Coronavirus India Updates: India has been witnessing a continuous fall in COVID-19 active caseload as it currently stands at 4,59,920, the Union Health Ministry stated on Wednesday. As per the coronavirus updates, India reported 43,733 new COVID-19 cases, 47,240 recoveries, and 930 deaths in the last 24 hours. As of now, a total of 36,13,23,548 people have been vaccinated so far. Union Health Ministry stated that more than 37.43 crore (37,43,25,560) vaccine doses have been provided to States/UTs so far. Of this, the total consumption including wastages is 35,75,98,947 doses. A total of 36,13,23,548 vaccine doses have been administered through 47,07,778 sessions, as per the provisional report till 7 am on Wednesday. Of which, 36,05,998 vaccine doses were administered in the last 24 hours. Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) stated that a total of 42,33,32,097 samples were tested for COVID-19 up to July 6. Of which, 19,07,216 samples were tested on Tuesday. -PTC News
