Coronavirus cases in Punjab rise to 2805; death toll 55; recovered 2232
The total number of coronavirus cases in Punjab has increased to 2805 after 86 new cases of COVID-19 were reported in the last 24 hours, as of Wednesday evening. The death toll in the state stood at 55.
According to the media bulletin issued by the Punjab Health Department, Amritsar, Faridkot and Gurdaspur reported 13 new cases each while 19 new cases were reported from Pathankot.
Ludhiana reported 11 new cases while Sangrur reported 4 new cases of coronavirus. Mohali, Fatehgarh Sahib and Patiala reported 3 new cases each while 1 new case each was reported from Jalandhar, Kapurthala and Barnala.
A total of 65 patients were declared cured and discharged in the last 24 hours. Of 65, 9 were from Jalandhar, 14 from Ludhiana and 3 from Tarn Taran, 3 from Hoshiarpur, 4 from Mohali, 5 from Sangrur, 3 from SBS Nagar, 11 from Pathankot, 5 from Bathinda, 2 from Barnala and one each from Moga and Fatehgarh Sahib.
Currently, Amritsar is on the top of the tally with 515 cases of coronavirus followed by Jalandhar at 312, Ludhiana at 277, and Gurdaspur at 165. Tarn Taran has reported 160 cases of coronavirus while Patiala has reported 142 cases of COVID-19.
Mohali tally has increased to 136 while Hoshiarpur has 135 cases. Meanwhile, the Coronavirus tally of Sangrur has increased to 120 while Pathankot tally has also spiked to 113.
The number of coronavirus cases in SBS Nagar stands at 110 while Faridkot has reported 86 cases. Fatehgarh Sahib has 73 cases while Ropar and Muktsar have 71 cases each.

Moga graph stands at 67 while Bathinda has 55 cases, Fazilka has 48 and Ferozepur has 46. The total number of coronavirus cases in Kapurthala stands at 42 while Mansa reported 34 cases and 28 cases were reported from Barnala.
