Coronavirus cases in Punjab rise to 2805; death toll 55; recovered 2232

The total number of coronavirus cases in Punjab has increased to 2805 after 86 new cases of COVID-19 were reported in the last 24 hours, as of Wednesday evening. The death toll in the state stood at 55. According to the media bulletin issued by the Punjab Health Department, Amritsar, Faridkot and Gurdaspur reported 13 new cases each while 19 new cases were reported from Pathankot. Ludhiana reported 11 new cases while Sangrur reported 4 new cases of coronavirus. Mohali, Fatehgarh Sahib and Patiala reported 3 new cases each while 1 new case each was reported from Jalandhar, Kapurthala and Barnala.
