Coronavirus: Punjab records decline in new COVID-19 cases in 24 hours

Coronavirus Punjab Updates: The total number of coronavirus cases in Punjab has increased to 5,17,954 after 6,407 new cases of COVID-19 were reported from the state in 24 hours, as of Wednesday evening. Ludhiana recorded 731 new cases of COVID-19 while Jalandhar reported 661, Bathinda 658, SAS Nagar 603, Fazilka 530, Patiala 388, Mansa 358, Muktsar 340, Hoshiarpur 310, Amritsar 306, and Sangrur 230. Likewise, Faridkot reported 184 new cases, Pathankot 154, FG Sahib 145, Ropar 129, Kapurthala 127, Ferozepur 116, Gurdaspur 106, Moga 95, Barnala 93, SBS Nagar 81, and Tarn Taran 62. The total number of recoveries in the state has increased to 4,34,930 after 7,872 new recoveries were reported from the state in 24 hours. Amritsar reported 585 new discharges while Barnala recorded 40, Bathinda 465, Faridkot 222, Fazilka 258, Ferozpur 130, FG Sahib 40, Gurdaspur 127, Hoshiarpur 404, Jalandhar 592, Ludhiana 1702, Kapurthala 161, Mansa 410, Moga 200, Muktsar 286, Pathankot 288, Patiala 372, Ropar 275, Sangrur 140, SAS Nagar 887, SBS Nagar 88, and Tarn Taran 200. Coronavirus Punjab Updates: Coronavirus cases in Punjab increased to 5,17,954 after 6,407 new cases of COVID-19 were reported. Similarly, Punjab recorded 208 new deaths due to COVID-19, taking the death toll to 12,525. The state is having a total of 70,499 active cases. Among new deaths, Amritsar recorded 11 new fatalities, Barnala 7, Bathinda 23, Faridkot 4, FG Sahib 3, Fazilka 11, Ferozpur 6, Gurdaspur 5, Hoshiarpur 7, Jalandhar 13, Kapurthala 5, Ludhiana 27, Mansa 4, Moga 3, SAS Nagar 15, Muktsar 15, Pathankot 5, Patiala 16, Ropar 5, Sangrur 18, SBS Nagar 4, and Tarn Taran 1.
