Delhi Assembly Election Results 2020 Updates: Soon after Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) gained a massive lead, the celebrations broke out at the party headquarters as the counting trends showed a fine victory for the Arvind Kejriwal-led party. AAP headquarters were decorated with blue and white balloons. Some huge cut-outs of Arvind Kejriwal were placed in different parts of the party office. Aam Aadmi Party leaders Sanjay Singh, ND Gupta and Sushil Gupta celebrate at party office as AAP takes big lead according to official EC trends. Sanjay Singh said 'Aaj Hindustan jeet gaya'. Aam Aadmi Party workes were seen celebrating in Amritsar, Samana and Mumbai as well. Meanwhile, AAP candidate Saurabh Bhardwaj was quoted by ANI as saying: "People of Delhi have accepted our governance model. At the counting centre, right now, I can see I am getting double the votes as compared to the BJP candidate."   Likewise, AAP candidate from Model Town, Akhilesh Pati Tripathi thanked everyone who expressed confidence in Arvind Kejriwal. He said that the people want a government that takes care of its citizens. "People of Delhi have voted for development and I thank them," he added. Meanwhile, Manoj Tiwari said that "Trends indicate that there is a gap between AAP-BJP, there is still time. We are hopeful. Whatever the outcome, being the State Chief I am responsible."
