'Dropped due to inactivity': Twitter restores blue tick on VP Venkaiah Naidu's personal handle
In a major development, Twitter restored the blue tick on of Vice President Venkaiah Naidu's personal account hours after it was removed.
Twitter on Saturday restored the blue verified badge on Vice President of India M Venkaiah Naidu's personal Twitter handle.

Meanwhile, the Twitter spokesperson, on blue tick removal from M Venkaiah Naidu's personal Twitter handle, said that the account was inactive since July 2020.

"As per our verification policy, Twitter may remove the blue verified badge and verified status if the account becomes inactive. The badge has been restored," the Twitter spokesperson.
The last tweet posted from Naidu's handle was on July 23, 2020.
"Always been a strong and vocal admirer of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and worshipper of Goddess Bhawani. Reminded Members that as per conventional practice at the time of taking an oath, no slogans are given. No disrespect at all," he had tweeted.
He has over 1.3 million followers.
