Elections 2022: AAP to kickstart poll campaign in Gujarat, Himachal from April

New Delhi, March 30: Aam Admi Party (AAP) will start the campaign for the Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh Assembly elections from the first week of April. Delhi Chief Minister and AAP national convenor Arvind Kejriwal and his Punjab counterpart Bhagwant Mann are set to hold a roadshow in Ahmedabad on April 2. The party chief will also hold meetings with party leaders of the Gujarat unit on April 3. Furthermore, Kejriwal and Mann will hold a Tiranga Yatra in Mandi, Himachal Pradesh on April 6. AAP gears up for Gujarat, HP polls Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh are set to hold assembly elections later this year. AAP is looking to expand its footprint in other states following its resounding victory in the Punjab Assembly elections. The party so far has stated that if it is elected in Himachal Pradesh, it will provide free energy and water as well as education and health services. Buoyed by the resounding success in Surat municipal elections, AAP also sees a glimmer of opportunity in Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Gujarat turf.
