'Adipurush' box office Day 5 collection: Despite backlash, 'Adipurush' all set to cross Rs 400 worldwide collection

PTC Web DesK: Despite widespread criticism, 'Adipurush' is all set to cross Rs 400 worldwide collection on Day 5 (Wednesday). As of noon, Adipurush box office Day 5 collection stands at Rs 395 crore.

Starring Prabhas, Kriti Sanon and Saif Ali Khan, Adipurush is witnessing widespread criticism over dialogue delivery and allegations of showing religious figures in "bad taste". However, despoyte this, the movie has collected Rs 395 crore in five days of its release and is set to cross Rs 400 crore on Wednesday at the worldwide box office (gross).

The film stars Prabhas as Raghava, Kriti Sanon as Janaki and Saif Ali Khan as Lankesh. 

On Wednesday, Kriti Sanon shared the film collection poster on Instagram. It read: ‘Satya pareshan ho sakta hai parajit nahi (Truth can get bothered but will not be defeated). Worldwide five-day box office gross 395 crore global box office."

Domestic box office collection

According to a Sacnilk.com report, Adipurush had recorded an estimated Rs 10.80 crore in all languages in India on Tuesday.  Amid the criticism, Adipurush dialogue writer Manoj Muntashir on Sunday said they would "revise some of the dialogues".

Kriti Sanon focuses on 'cheers and claps' 

Seems like actor Kriti Sanon has decided not to pay heed to the backlash surrounding her latest release 'Adipurush'. Kriti, who essayed the role of Sita in the mythological drama, took to Instagram and shared videos of the audience cheering for the movie. In one of the clips, moviegoers can be heard singing 'Ram Siya Ram'.
