Alia Bhatt's ex-PA arrested for duping actress of Rs 76 lakh, was at large for 5 months
PTC News Desk: Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt's former secretary Vedika Prakash Shetty has been arrested allegedly committing fraud with actress and duping her of Rs 76 lakh. The case was registered a few months ago based on a complaint by the actor’s mother, Soni Razdan.
Shetty was arrested in Bengaluru nearly five months after the FIR was registered. She had been absconding for over five months after the registration of FIR.
Vedika allegedly forged Alia Bhatt’s signature and embezzled Rs 76.9 lakh over a period of two years.
Alia Bhatt or her team has not issued an official stattement regarding the matter as of now. Alia Bhatt’s production house, Eternal Sunshine Productions, was launched in 2021 with the vision of creating “happy films” that focus on real, timeless, and heartwarming stories. The company’s debut project, ‘Darlings’, was co-produced with Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment.
