Fact Check: Did Naseeruddin Shah say THIS about PM Modi, Kangana Ranaut?
PTC News Desk: A fact-check by NDTV revealed that an internet post about BJP candidate Kangana Ranaut was misattributed to veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah.
The post includes the remark "Kangana Ranaut has problems with every actor except Narendra Modi" and attributed it to Naseeruddin Shah.
However, the post is fake and has no credible news reports or records of the actor making such a statement. The post, according to an NDTV report, was posted by a parody Twitter account, @naseruddin_shah, on February 9, 2021. It was reported that the account does not exist anymore.
Earlier too, multiple media outlets called out the actor's fake Twitter account in February 2021 for spreading misinformation about the farmers' protests between January and February 2021.
