From Arvind Kejriwal to Mika Singh: Guests at Parineeti Chopra-Raghav Chadha’s engagement

Actor Parineeti Chopra and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MP Raghav Chadha got engaged on Saturday in an intimate ceremony involving family and close friends.

Actor Priyanka Chopra also attended her cousin Parineeti's engagement ceremony in Delhi. Parineeti’s brother Sidharth Chopra was also there.

Three Chief Ministers - Punjab’s Bhagwant Mann, Delhi’s Arvind Kejriwal and Meghalaya’s Conrad Sangma - also attended the ceremony. Akal Takht Jathedar Giani Harpreet Singh also attended the ceremony and was seen standing next to the couple during the ardas performed at the venue.

Cabinet ministers from Punjab, on the other hand, were absent from the ceremony, according to sources, because they were busy in Jalandhar following the bypoll results.

Bhagwant Mann’s wife Dr Gurpreet Kaur and Kejriwal’s wife Sunita also attended the ceremony.

Political figures such as Kapil Sibal, P Chidambaram, Abhishek Singhvi, Sanjay Singh, and Rajiv Shukla and his wife Anuradha Prasad, as well as singer Mika Singh and fashion designer Manish Malhotra, attended the engagement.

Parineeti and Raghav announced the news on Instagram with a series of photos. This is the first time any of them has officially confirmed their relationship. "Everything I prayed for... I said yes!" she captioned the photo.

Both Parineeti and Raghav were dressed in white, and one of the photographs they shared was of their hands intertwined.
