'Gadar 2' controversy: Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel starrer 'Gadar 2' has sparked controversy. Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) has raised objections over a scene in the movie. The Sikh body has also sought action against the director and main leads of the film.

The SGPC has condemned a scene in Gadar-2 that was shot inside a gurudwara. Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel can be seen holding hands inside the Gurdwara in the scene. With the film production underway, the scene went viral on social media.

SGPC General Secretary Gurcharan Singh Grewal, talking about the film, said that such a scene should not have been shot on the Gurdwara and that it is unacceptable.

Previously, the film had sparked controversy due to its shooting location.

According to reports, certain important scenes were shot in the Bhaled village of Himachal Paradesh's Palampur. However, the owner of the property on which the shooting took place accused the filmmakers of cheating and fraud.

The owner stated that the filmmakers used the entire house for filming despite the fact that only three rooms were agreed upon.

The owner also stated that they had many complications while filming and that he had issued the film-makers a bill of Rs 52 lakh.
