Mahadev betting app case: Following reports that several celebrities are being investigated by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in connection with the Mahadev money-laundering case, Kapil Sharma and Hina Khan have been summoned before the central agency.
Their names surfaced after actor Ranbir Kapoor was summoned the day before. The comedian and actor have been summoned and will appear in front of the ED on Friday.

Earlier, actor Ranbir Kapoor was summoned by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in connection with an alleged online betting app case. He is expected to appear before the probe agency on October 6, as part of their investigation into his involvement in promoting the Mahadev online book betting app.
The Mahadev online gambling app allegedly offers a platform for illegal betting on various live games, including card games, games of chance, cricket, badminton, tennis, football, and even allows users to bet on Indian elections. It also provides users with the opportunity to play several card games, such as 'teen patti,' poker, 'dragon tiger,' virtual cricket games, and more.
