'No villain': Jay Bhanushali, Mahi Vij announce separation after 14 years of marriage
PTC News Desk: Actors Jay Bhanushali and Mahhi Vij have announced their separation after 14 years of marriage. In a joint statement, they explained that the decision was taken together with mutual respect and understanding.
They said they will continue to support each other and remain friends. The couple added that their decision is guided by peace, kindness, and humanity, and there is no anger or blame involved. Jay and Mahhi said their children—Tara, Khushi, and Rajveer—are their biggest priority. They promised to work together to be the best parents and take care of their children’s well-being.

“Today, we choose to part ways on a journey called life. Yet, we continue to have each other’s back. Peace, growth, kindness and humanity have always been our guiding values. For the sake of our children — Tara, Khushi and Rajveer — we commit to being the best parents, the best friends, and whatever else it takes to do what is right for them. Though we walk separate paths, there is no villain in this story and no negativity attached to this decision. Before any conclusions are drawn, please know that we choose peace over drama and sanity above all else. We continue to respect one another, support one another, and remain friends, as we always have been. With mutual respect, we ask for your respect, love and kindness as we move forward. — Mahhi Vij & Jay Bhanushali (sic)."
Mahhi Vij, known for her roles in Laagi Tujhse Lagan and Balika Vadhu, married Jay Bhanushali in 2011. In 2017, they fostered two children, Rajveer and Khushi, and later had their daughter Tara in 2019.
The couple also won Nach Baliye Season 5 in 2013 and have appeared separately in reality shows like Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 4 and Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 7.
