During a special visit to the Amazon Prime reality show Alliance, Salman revealed that he has shed 16 kg, a disclosure that came days after videos from a public event left many followers worried about his health.
The concern began after Salman attended an official function organised by the Slum Rehabilitation Authority (SRA) in Mumbai. While the event itself was routine, clips from the programme quickly went viral for a different reason, his noticeably leaner appearance caught the attention of fans, with many taking to social media to express concern over his changed look.

The clarity finally came during Salman's appearance on Alliance, where he turned up to cheer for younger brother Sohail Khan ahead of the finale week. In a light, brotherly exchange, Salman told Sohail that he had lost weight. Not to be outdone, Sohail flaunted his abs and revealed he was down 12 kg to which Salman responded that he himself had lost 16 kg, putting an end to the speculation surrounding his appearance.

Beyond the health talk, the episode also had its share of light moments. Salman jokingly remarked that his close friend Riteish Deshmukh's hosting gig on Lock Upp could be in trouble, saying, "I think Riteish Deshmukh ki naukri khatre mein lag rahi hai (I think Riteish Deshmukh's job is in danger)." The comment sparked curiosity online, though the exact context behind it wasn't revealed in the promo. The two share a warm equation off-screen, with Salman having featured in Deshmukh's directorial debut, Raja Shivaji, at the filmmaker's request.
The promo also captured a raw, emotional side of Sohail, who admitted to Salman, "I freaked out today," referring to a moment where he was seen repeatedly kicking a storeroom door out of frustration.
