SRK ill ? Shah Rukh Khan admitted to hospital in Ahmedabad ; Know Why
SRK hospitalised : Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has been admitted to KD Hospital in Ahmedabad after falling ill.
The actor's sudden hospitalisation has raised concerns among his fans.
Shah Rukh Khan was in Ahmedabad to watch the first IPL playoff match yesterday. As per the sources, Bollywood superstar fell ill due to scorching heat which led to dehydration and heatstroke, resulting in his admission to KD Hospital.
The incident occurred when Shah Rukh Khan, affectionately known as King Khan, arrived in Ahmedabad on Tuesday, May 21, to watch the IPL qualifier match between Kolkata Knight Riders and Sunrisers Hyderabad at Narendra Modi Stadium.
After experiencing a deterioration , Shah Rukh Khan was transported to KD Hospital at approximately 1 pm, where he received primary treatment before being discharged. Currently, he is in stable health, and medical professionals have advised him to rest adequately.
Ahmedabad, like several other regions in India, faced high temperatures, with the capital of Gujarat reaching around 45 degrees Celsius.
On the work front, SRK returned to the silver screen with Siddharth Anand's 'Pathaan' in January 2023.
The film in which SRK donned an awe-evoking action avatar broke several records at the box office and managed to grab a name in the list of one of the highest-grossing films in the Indian film industry.
The film also marked SRK's first hit after his sabbatical of four years after a series of flicks such as 'Zero' and 'Jab Harry Met Sejal'. After 'Pathaan', King Khan returned to theatres in September with 'Jawan'.
The film once again saw SRK in an action avatar. The film collected over Rs 1000 crore. at the worldwide box office. Needless to say, SRK, who has had a phenomenal run, did not stop here.
Later, he came up with 'Dunki', which also did decent business at the box office.
