Viral challenges and their impacts: Canadian TikToker, Michelle Fairburn who tried ‘75 Hard Fitness challenge’ gets hospitalised after consuming a large amount of water just for completing the viral fitness challenge. 


Why Michelle Fairburn get hospitalised?

Recently, tiktoker Michelle Fairburn took to his Instagram handle and posted a video in which she explained that earlier she thought that she had water poisoning as she was not able to intake, “more than three to four litres of water in a few hours.” But however, on the 12th day of her challenge, she said that she couldn't eat, was nauseous and felt weak.

After a series of tests and checkups, it has been revealed that, Michelle is suffering from severe sodium deficiency as she followed the strict diet. The doctors further advised her to consume less than half a liter of water per day. Fairburn's experience highlighted the potential risks of such challenges.

What is ’75 Hard Fitness Challenge’ 

 ‘75 Hard’ is a viral trending challenge in which a person has to do rigorous workouts twice a day, follow a strict diet and consume four litres of water. No alcohol or ‘cheat meals’ are allowed.  The challenge also involves workout of 45 minutes, reading 10 pages a day and take a daily progress photo, which involves drinking a four litres of water regularly for 75 days.
