Fake Covishield alert: The Union Government has listed parameters to ascertain the authenticity of Covid 19 vaccines being administered in India to check fake doses. Following fake Covishield alert, the guidelines sent to states/UTs across the country state that the Serum Institute of India (SII) label is dark green in colour and has been given a special honeycomb effect, visible only at a particular angle.
