Film Producer Found Hanging At Mumbai Temple Alleged Harassment
Former producer committed suicide by hanging himself at a temple in south Mumbai's Grant Road locality on Tuesday night. The deceased has been identified as Sadanand alias Pappu Lad (51).

He hanged himself inside the Landancha Ganpati temple on MS Ali Road. Police found a suicide note on the spot. According to the suicide, he was fed up with the harassment by a builder.
Sadanand was a former member of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP). He had also produced Marathi films under the banner of LG production.

Sadanand’s son Ankur Lad lodged a complaint, on the basis of which a case under IPC section 306 (abetment of suicide) was registered. Police has started an investigation in this case.
