SAS Nagar, June 14: Five buses from Sector 17, Chandigarh, bus stand will depart for the Indira Gandhi International Airport, Delhi, from June 15.
Pardeep Singh Dhillon, Regional Transport Authority, Mohali, said with the initiative of Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, super luxury Volvo bus service was being launched for the Indira Gandhi International Airport New Delhi from June 15 .
He said the first bus would leave Chandigarh Sector 17 at 7.35 am and reach New Delhi Airport at 2.15 pm, the second will leave at 9.50 am and reach at 4.30 pm and the third will leave at 1.40 pm and reach 9.00 pm.
He said buses would also run from the Delhi Airport to Sector 17 Chandigarh at 2.45 pm, 8.50 pm, 10.45 pm, 11.40 pm and 1 pm. Notably, for the past four years, buses from Punjab to the IGI Airport were being plied only by private operators. The AAP had promised to restart the service in the run-up to the state Assembly elections.
