Former Minister and Akali leader Dalip Singh Pandhi passes away
Veteran Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) leader and former legislator from Amloh in Fatehgarh Sahib district, Dalip Singh Pandhi passed away following a cardiac arrest on late Sunday night. He was 83.

A day before, the former minister had complained of uneasiness after which he was rushed to a private hospital in Patiala, where he breathed his last following a massive heart attack.

His predecessor and Shiormani Akali Dal (SAD) patron Parkash Singh Badal and SAD president Sukhbir Badal expressed deep shock and grief at Pandhi’s demise.
