Good news for cricketer Harmanpreet, government will not demote her to constable rank
Indian woman cricketer Harmanpreet Kaur will no longer be demoted to the constable post. She is retained to DSP post only. The Punjab government can give Harmanpreet some time to complete his Bachelor Degree. Until then, Harmanpreet will continue on the Punjab Police DSP Honorary rank. According to the Chief Minister's Office sources, Harmanpreet's position will not be reduced but she will have to complete his Bachelor Degree. Following the fake degree deposited by the Indian women cricketer Harmanpreet Kaur, the Punjab government was discussing to demote her to the constable rank. The graduation degree completed by Harmanpreet Kaur from the University Of Charan Singh University, Meerut, was found to be fake. Following which the department had written a letter to her saying her education qualification is up to 12th and can get constable job. Meanwhile, Harmanpreet’s manager said that even if this degree was deposited in the railway, so how could it be fake? On this, when Commandant of Punjab Armed Police sent the Degree to Meerut University for examination, the University said that the kind of registration number on the Degree doesn’t exist. -PTC NEWS
