Govt teachers in Punjab to get training abroad: CM Bhagwant Mann
Chandigarh, May 10: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann today in a meeting with the principals and headmasters of government schools in Punjab announced that overseas training of teachers would start in next 2-3 months.
Reportedly, the meeting was attended by around 2500 teachers and officials.
Education Minister Gurmeet Singh Meet Hayer said that great efforts have been made by the Chief Minister to improve the quality of education. “It was the first time that the Chief Minister of the state was holding a meeting with the headmasters, principals and every education officer of the district.” he said.
