Confirmed! Haryana Police arrests Lakha Sidhana in connection with Republic Day violence

Lakha Sidhana Arrested: Hours after announcing reward of Rs 1 lakh on Lakha Sidhana, in connection with Republic Day violence, Haryana Police arrested him from the national capital on Sunday.

According to the sources, Lakha Sidhana was arrested by Sonipat police. The police was hunting for Sidhana.

Has Delhi Police arrested Lakha Sidhana in connection with Republic Day violence from the national capital on Sunday?

Earlier in the day, the Delhi Police had announced Rs 1 lakh as reward on Lakha Sidhana who is an alleged conspirator in the Republic Day violence.

Reportedly, Sidhana has been posting several videos on social media post the Republic Day violence. The teams of Delhi Police Crime Branch and Special Cell were looking for him across Punjab, Haryana and Delhi-NCR.

In his last video, he was asking his followers to support Deep Sidhu, who has been arrested by the Delhi police.

The Republic Day violence took place on January 26 during the farmers' tractor march when some miscreants headed towards the Red Fort and hoisted the religious flag at the national monument, next to the tricolor.

On Saturday, the Delhi Police took Deep Sidhu and Iqbal Singh to Red Fort to recreate the incident that took place on January 26.
