Hoshiarpur: Cop shoots self dead; was 'humiliated' by senior
Hoshiarpur, September 10: In a tragic incident, an assistant sub-inspector (ASI) of police in Punjab's Hoshiarpur shot himself dead at the police station on Saturday.
According to sources, a suicide note was also recovered from the site of the crime.
The deceased ASI has been identified as Satish Kumar.

As per the reports, the 52-year-old cop also recorded a video before killing himself. In the video message, he blamed Tanda station house officer Onkar Singh Brar for his death.
According to the video, the SHO had “humiliated” him during an inspection on September 8 and had also entered an adverse comment against him in the rozanmacha, a diary kept at the police station.
The matter is under investigation.
