IMD predicts colder days in Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and Delhi
IMD Weather Forecast: The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) on Monday stated that the severe cold day may grip Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, and Delhi in the next few days. "Cold day and severe cold day conditions expected in Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh & Delhi, northwest Uttar Pradesh and north Rajasthan during next 3-4 days," the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) stated while giving a weather forecast. Kuldeep Srivastava, Regional Head, IMD Delhi, stated that "On January 14, the temperature in the capital will reduce again, dipping to about 5 degrees Celsius. The minimum temperatures of 7.8 degrees Celsius and 7.0 degrees Celcius were recorded at Palam and Safdarjung, respectively," the IMD stated. According to the bulletin on January 10, the IMD predicted cold wave conditions at isolated places in Punjab and Haryana on January 12 and 13. -PTC News
