IMD predicts rainfall over Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh in coming days
IMD Weather Forecast Report: The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) Monday predicted weather over Punjab, Haryana, and Chandigarh in the coming days.
IMD, in its weather forecast report, stated that scattered to widespread rainfall and snowfall very likely over Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit, Baltistan and Muzaffarabad, and Himachal Pradesh during April 5-9 and over Uttarakhand during April 6-9.

Meanwhile, the maximum temperatures were appreciably above normal (3.1°C to 5.0°C) at many places over Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Chandigarh & Delhi, Punjab, and East Rajasthan.

The Indian Meteorological Department has warned that thunderstorm with lightning, hail, and gusty winds (speed reaching 30-40 kmph) very likely on Monday at isolated places over Himachal Pradesh and lightning at isolated places over Punjab, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Arunachal Pradesh, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, and Yanam, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal.
Similarly, lightning and gusty winds (speed reaching 30-40 kmph) is likely on April 6 at isolated places over Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Kerala, and Mahe.
On April 7, lightning and gusty winds (speed reaching 30-40 kmph) have been predicted at isolated places over Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and Delhi, West Uttar Pradesh, Kerala and Mahe.
