New Delhi, March 8: The Embassy of India in Kyiv, Ukraine, has issued an advisory to Indians stranded there amid the Russia-Ukraine war. Since humanitarian corridor has been announced in various parts of Ukraine, the Indian Embassy in Kyiv has asked the Indian nationals to leave through any means trains/buses at the earliest. It stated that considering increasing tension amidst Russia-Ukraine war, the next humanitarian corridor is almost uncertain. At the meeting, both sides addressed the issues of civilian evacuation and the Ukrainian side assured Russia that the humanitarian corridor will start working from Tuesday. "From 10 am (Moscow time) on March 8, 2022, the Russian Federation declares a ceasefire and is ready to provide humanitarian corridors," the statement issued by the Russian Foreign Ministry said, giving further details of the humanitarian corridors to be created in the cities of Kyiv, Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv and Mariupol for the evacuation of civilians.
