Since then, the franchise hasn’t won another title. Now, under the captaincy of Australian cricketer Steve Smith, the Royals would be a team to watch out for this season.
In the auctions of IPL 2020, Rajasthan Royals strengthened its squad by adding new players i.e. Robin Uthappa (3 crore), Jaydev Unadkat (Rs 3 crore), Yashasvi Jaiswal (Rs 2.4 crore), Tom Curran (1 crore), David Miller (Rs 75 lakh) and Oshane Thomas (Rs 50 lakh).
